Slide the power switch to the unlocking position, the pendulum is unlocked, the self-leveling mode is enabled. The laser beam will flash continuously when the tool is beyond the self-leveling range ± 4°.
Keep the power switch on locking position, press and hold the top button for 3 seconds could turn on the Manual mode, then you can place the laser tool at various angles to project non-level straight lines.
The 1/4" -20 thread on the bottom of the laser level allows it to be mounted on a magnetic bracket (not included), or you can mount it on a tripod, so that you can rotate the laser level 360° to project lines at any position or angle, or adjust the height from the tripod.
